Terms of Business

Welcome to DG Wedding Events. If you decide to book with us you are agreeing to comply and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
 
  • You ‘the Client’ and DG Wedding Events will enter into a formal agreement setting out comprehensive details of the event and your requirements;
  • To secure the booking a deposit of 20% of total cost of services to be provided must be paid within 7 days of signing the formal agreement between you ‘the Client’ and DG Wedding Events. A minimum of a further 25% to be paid no later than 1 month prior to the event date;
  • Full payment of the total cost of the booking for DJ and Disco, and extras if applicable, must be made no later than 1 month before the date of the event;
  • Payment can be made either by cheque but funds must be cleared before the date is confirmed or if it is easier you can BACS payment direct to Platinum Sounds;
  • If you choose to cancel the booking the following will apply:-
  • Cancellation within 7 days of the event date – loss of total payment;
  • Cancellation more than 7 days but less than 1 month prior to the event date – loss of 30% of total payment;
  • Cancellation of more than 1 month prior to event date – loss of deposit only;
  • If you require the DG Wedding Events DJ to continue the Disco after the agreed time, an additional charge will be made;
  • Any refund due will be made by cheque immediately on receipt of your written cancellation instructions.
